This revolutionary new program was the brainchild of a colleague

and myself, when we realized that regularization documents existed that

allowed an individual to turn an expired document of any kind into a

temporary residency visa; it simply had to be authorized. The idea was

presented to immigration, who loved how great it would be for Mexico's

snowbirds as Mexico had begun to crack down on many who had gotten

stuck here during the pandemic and were now here irregularly and in

danger of deportation.

A few months of immigration working out the details, and the end

result is a program that grants temporary residency to anyone who visited

Mexico and received a valid FMM to anyone who visited Mexico between

2010- Dec. 31st 2022 and who is on a currently expired or expiring FMM.

This means you can now apply directly for temporary residency

without leaving the country or showing finances!!! It's an ideal solution for

snowbirds and digital nomads who are either "stuck" in Mexico, or don't

quite meet the financial requirements for a financial solvency visa.

 This process will consist of 1 or 2 days

Progreso, or 10 days in Merida, because in Merida they use an appointment system, but the in-office process takes 1-2 days.

 YTS Processing fee is $3,500 mxp, plus the $1,000 pesos retainer.

The requirements for this process are simple. You must be

on an expired FMM, and you must have visited Mexico

legally at least once in the past, between 2010 and December 31st 2022.

 From you we require your passport and your fmm.

We fill out all the same paperwork as we would for any

regularization paperwork, which is outlined in the financial

solvency area,

● The fees are as follows:

○ $1,702 pesos application fee to INM

○ $2,075 pesos fine for expired FMM

● Visa payment: Choose how many years you would

like your visa for.

○ $5,328 one year visa

○ $7,984 two year visa

○ $10,112 three year visa

○ $11,985 four year visa.
